From the conceptual development of a project through the commissioning, Pegasus can provide the engineering expertise to see a pipeline project through, from inception to completion.
Specializing in the design of offshore pipelines, some of the design activities Pegasus performs are as follows: hydraulic analysis for line sizing, pipeline routing, pipeline riser designs (conventional, steel catenary, j-tube), concrete weight coating thickness for on-bottom stability, cathodic protection design, and the design of pipeline related facilities.
Pegasus also provides a wide range of construction management services relative to offshore pipeline projects. Development of project material and construction specifications, preparation of material and construction bid documents, and contract management all fall within the capabilities of Pegasus. Combined with the field service capabilities, total project management can be provided for our clients.
Finally, the pre-commissioning and commissioning for any pipeline project activities can be planned and coordinated by Pegasus. These activities include flooding, gauging, hydrostatic testing, dewatering, purging and introduction of product. Pegasus can develop the specifications and procedures required for all of these activities.
