FENCHUGANJ GAS FIELD DEVELOPMENT PROJECT
Bangladesh Petroleum Exploration and Production Company Ltd.(BAPEX) was in the process of developing a number of prospective Gas structures including the Salda, Shahbajpur and Fenchunganj Gas Fields to enhance the supply of the countyís natural gas. The Fenchuganj Gas Field lies in the Moulovi_Bazar District, East of Patharia in the Northern part of Bangladesh. The objective of the project was to further develop Fenchuganj Gas Field to enhance its production capacity to help meet the countryís growing demand for natural gas. The development comprised of the Procurement and Installation of a 60 MMCFD Silica Gel Type Gas Dehydration and Condensate Extraction Plant to process the gas and a 100 BBL/day Capacity Condensate Fractionation Plant to fractionate condensate received from the Silica Plant.
