HABIGANJ-ASHUGANJ GAS TRANSMISSION LOOPLINE SECTION
GAS Transmission Company Limited (GTCL), a subsidiary of Petrobangla planned to construct a 30-inc 54 km Habiganj-Ashuganj pipeline. The pipeline will help increase transmission and distribution of natural gas to the countryís northern district through Bangabandhu Multi-Purpose Bridge. The pipeline links the Rashidpur Gas Field (Habiganj) to the national gas grid at Ashuganj. As a result, more gas will be transmitted directly to the national grid and the additional gas will be supplied to the countryís western region.
